In Halloween, a killer named Michael Myers was committed to Smith's Grove Sanitarium after he murdered his sister. Fifteen years later, Myers escaped and returned to his hometown of Haddonfield, where he stalked Laurie Strode and killed her friends. Just when Michael was about to finish off Laurie, he was shot six times by the man who knew him best, Dr. Loomis. Michael was only stopped momentarily because you can't kill the boogeyman.
